Drumroll Please...

Let's hear it for Vanessa Maria Pouliot

from Grant MacEwan University

For collecting more than $17,400 worth on empty beverage containers. Vanessa says the contest really sparked a fire within her group of friends, who didn’t always recycle before. Now after collecting so many empty beverage containers she thinks their behaviour has changed. How on earth did she and her friends collect so many empty beverage containers? Click here to read her story!

Also, congrats to Aletha Volk, a student at the University of Alberta for winning our draw prize of an Apple MacBook Pro laptop computers.

Thanks to everyone’s hard work, more than $86,000 worth of empty beverage containers were brought back to bottle depots across the province. That’s 800,000 empty beverage containers that are now being recycled. And when we save the environment, we all win in the end.

But guess what? There are still more chances to win some awesome stuff!

How? Just send us a short note on your bottle collecting adventures and we’ll send you some free Tosser swag. Did you encounter a funny situation? Make new friends? Overcome interesting hurdles?
